CS 1.6 FY maps (Fight Yard maps) are small arena maps with the fy_ prefix designed for fast combat with no objectives – no bomb, no hostages, just fragging. Both teams spawn close together and rounds last 10-30 seconds. FY maps are community-made and are not part of the original Valve map pool. They are used for aim training, warmup, and casual play on public and respawn servers. This page lists all known counter-strike 1.6 fy_ maps organized by theme, with download sources at the bottom.

What are CS 1.6 FY maps

FY stands for Fight Yard (also sometimes called Frag Yard). The format originated in the early CS 1.6 community and became one of the most played map types on public servers globally. All cs 1.6 fy_ maps share these characteristics: very small size, no bomb or hostage objective, pure team deathmatch, and both teams spawning within immediate combat range. Many FY maps provide weapons at spawn rather than requiring players to buy. Tsarvar.com currently lists over 1,200 FY maps in active use across CS 1.6 servers worldwide.

Place downloaded .bsp files in cstrike/maps/ inside your CS 1.6 installation folder. For server owners, also add map names to mapcycle.txt.
