HPP Hack Block v1.2 – CS 1.6 Anti-Cheat Plugin for HPPv5 and HPPv6

The HPP cheat in Counter-Strike 1.6 is a server crash exploit – when a player with HPPv5 or HPPv6 connects, they can deliberately destabilize the server, triggering repeated crashes and disconnecting everyone. The server console shows messages like “crashed by hpp” before going down. How the HPP Blocker Works

The hpp hack block plugin uses engfunc(EngFunc_SetPhysicsKeyValue, ...) to manipulate the “pi” physics key values that HPPv5 and HPPv6 exploit on connection. Three modes are available in the source:

• Default (alternating) – the plugin alternates between key values "xvi" and "aye" every 5 seconds via a task loop. This prevents the cheat from stabilizing its connection exploit regardless of which HPP version is used.
• HPPv5 only – uncomment #define BLOCK_ONLY_HPP5 in the .sma file to use key value "xvi" exclusively
• HPPv6 only – uncomment #define BLOCK_ONLY_HPP6 to use key value "aye" exclusively

Leave the default alternating mode unless you know which specific HPP version is targeting your server.

Requirements

• AMX Mod X 1.8.2, 1.9.0, or 1.10.0 dev and later
• Fakemeta module enabled on the server

How to Install HPP Hack Block on Your CS 1.6 Server

1. Extract the RAR archive
2. Upload hpp_blocker.amxx to cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins/
3. Open cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/modules.ini and confirm the fakemeta line has no semicolon at the start
4. Open cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/plugins.ini and add: hpp_blocker.amxx
5. Restart the server or change the map to activate the cs 1.6 hpp blocker
