CS 1.6 Server Redirect Plugin – xRedirect /server Menu AMXX

This cs 1.6 server redirect plugin adds a server menu to your counter-strike 1.6 server. Players type /server in chat, pick one of your other servers from the list and are sent there without leaving the game. Server owners with several servers use it to move players across their network – for example from a full public server to a deathmatch server.

The CS 1.6 x redirect plugin is Server Menu v0.2.1 by Sebul (server_menu_v2). Many Counter-Strike 1.6 server owners use this  CS 1.6 xRedirect plugin.

Install the cs 1.6 redirect plugin

1. Compile server_menu_v2.sma to server_menu_v2.amxx with the AMXX compiler or the online sma to amxx compiler
2. Upload server_menu_v2.amxx to cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins/
3. Add server_menu_v2.amxx on a new line in configs/plugins.ini
4. Upload servers_list.ini to cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/ and add your servers (see below)
5. Restart the server and check with amx_plugins that the plugin is running

servers_list.ini – add your servers

One server per line: the name players see in the menu, then IP and port.

Replace the examples with your own servers. Keep the quotes and use the full IP:port.

/server command – how players switch servers

• Type /server or say /server in chat
• Or type server in the console

A menu with your servers opens. The player picks one and connects to it directly.

Server redirect not working – what to check

• Menu is empty: servers_list.ini is not in amxmodx/configs/, or the lines are not in the right format
• Player is not sent to the server: check the IP and port in servers_list.ini and that the target server is online
• /server does nothing: the plugin is not running – check amx_plugins and compile errors
