CS 1.6 Reset Stats – Counter-Strike 1.6 Server Stats Reset

CS 1.6 reset stats – clear all counter-strike 1.6 server player stats, ranks and top15 leaderboard. Two methods: csstats_reset command via RCON for servers running CSStats AMXX plugin, or deleting csstats.dat manually. csstats_reset – reset cs 1.6 server stats via RCON

For servers running AMX Mod X with CSStats plugin – this is the fastest way to reset cs 1.6 player stats and ranks. Connect to your server via RCON and run:

csstats_reset 1

Or via AMX cvar command:

amx_cvar csstats_reset 1

Immediately after – change the map to trigger the reset:

rcon changelevel de_dust2

After the map loads and stats are cleared – set it back to 0 to stop it from resetting every round:

csstats_reset 0

Or via AMX cvar:

amx_cvar csstats_reset 0

Players verify the cs 1.6 stats reset by typing /rank or /top15 in game chat – all will show zero. To restart /top15 and /rank counter-strike 1.6 stats from scratch – this is the correct method.

How to connect via RCON to reset cs 1.6 stats

Open CS 1.6 console with ~, connect to your server, then type:

rcon_password YOUR_RCON_PASSWORD
rcon csstats_reset 1
rcon csstats_reset 0

Replace YOUR_RCON_PASSWORD with the password from your server.cfg.

Delete csstats.dat – clear cs 1.6 player stats manually

Use this method when the RCON command does not work, you use a different stat plugin, or the stat file is corrupted. Deleting csstats.dat completely clears all cs 1.6 server stats – kills, deaths, headshots, rank and top15.

1. Stop the server – must not be running when deleting stat files
2. Navigate to: cstrike/addons/amxmodx/data/
3. Find csstats.dat – this file stores all cs 1.6 player stats and ranks
4. Delete csstats.dat – or rename to csstats.dat.backup to keep a copy
5. Start the server – CSStats creates a new empty csstats.dat automatically on startup

All player stats, ranks and top15 entries are cleared. Every player starts from zero on next connect.

Reset cs 1.6 /top15 and /rank leaderboard

The /top15 and /rank commands in counter-strike 1.6 read data from csstats.dat. There is no separate command to reset only /top15 – both csstats_reset 1 and deleting csstats.dat clear /rank and /top15 at the same time.

After resetting – players type /top15 or /rank in game chat to confirm the cs 1.6 rank reset worked. The leaderboard will be empty until new stats accumulate.

New season cs 1.6 server stats reset

Starting a new season on a cs 1.6 server – resetting stats gives every player an equal starting point. Best practice for a season reset:

• Announce the reset date in advance so players know when it happens
• Back up csstats.dat before resetting – rename it with the date so old season data is preserved
• Run csstats_reset 1 then immediately csstats_reset 0
• Restart the server after the reset to ensure clean state
