Counter-Strike 1.6 Update – December 12, 2023 Update
This latest update brings several improvements to enhance the gaming experience:
- Improved Game Invitation and Steam Friends List Connectivity:
- Addressed issues related to joining games through invites and the Steam friends list.
- Enhanced User Interface for Dedicated Servers:
- Miscellaneous UI fixes have been implemented to improve the functionality and appearance of Dedicated Servers.
- Scoreboard Opening Stability:
- Resolved an occasional crash that occurred when opening the scoreboard during gameplay.
- Post-Death Camera Movement Fix:
- Fixed the camera movement glitch that sometimes occurred after a player’s character died in multiplayer mode.
- Server Creation Crash Prevention:
- Rectified a crash that could happen when creating a server, specifically when the server creator’s Steam name consisted entirely of non-ASCII characters.
